Here's the link to May 19, special called
meeting ... watch and you decide...
The summary provided by the mayor begins 28.14 minutes into the meeting....or you can start at the beginning and hear some of the council....Ward 2 must have been having a rufff day, because it sounded as if she was admonishingly reading her prepared "statement". One public speaker described a perfect analogy on what is happening here....similar to a scam...when someone charges a small amount to your credit card to see if you notice....If you don't hurry to catch it.... the next one will be a doozy. Point being....if the voters of Easley don't like arbitrarily changing this ordinance....please contact your Ward Rep AND come to the next council meeting TO voice YOUR opinion.
We are blessed to live in the greatest country in the world, but do not exercise our rights. This is how we lose our rights when WE don't pay attention. More's coming....wait and see!
